What to Expect in Garden Design Consultation

Personal Interview

I meet with you to define your project. This initial interview is when I take the opportunity to find out about you. What do you like and dislike? What is your experience level? What is a realistic time line for installation and budget? What about your family members, what do they want, how will they use the garden? Space for entertaining, relaxing, practicing sports, wildlife habitat?

Site observation

I will tour your yard with you and we will take note of positive and negative features of your yard, placement of utilities, sun and wind direction etc.

Garden form and style definition

Further one on one consulting, getting into more detail about your preferences for form and style of gardening. More goal detailing. Analyzing the entire project and breaking it down into manageable parts.
